MUNICH

It’s a good film. Even though painful and stressful, it goes straight deep to the inside world of a man – a sweet lover, good cook, young father, faithful patriotic, but terrorist.

He isn’t an idea person to take the mission: his life was sweet and happy; the emotion is so strong that he got touched by every similar scene during his mission. An ideal person should be one who doesn’t own these; neither feels these in his life. Does he exist?
**********
But forget the above bullshit, cause this isn’t the good logic to reason – killing can never save anyone, change anything. Look at this principle: to kill the one who had killed, not their family, or anybody else. However, the reality is that a family is damaged as the father, the husband is lost, that the innocents could also lose their life by hazard. Those who get involved into this game of revenge, they break the happiness of the others, and of themselves…He could have been friends with Ali, or joking with Zwaith (?). No, actually, the mission killed all these possibilities, the happiness, and what’s left to him are blood and smashed bodies of the people who were once lovely for him.

They take away the happiness of others, and the happiness of themselves.

I know really very little about the history of Israel and Palestine. That "little" I know, is due to my arrival in France – the fact that I’m now near to the two mysterious nations. But hates and revenges, I’ve seen much from Chinese history between families – the over 5000 years’ history.
The war will never end if people reason on hates and revenges, for hates and revenges are not reasonable at all. Someone should first be tolerant and wise to stop passive reactions to irrational actions. It need lot of courage, of course, the courage to forgive the past, the courage to be patient and to negotiate inch by inch. When you think of the happiness for other people as well as for yourself, I think you’ll change your mind.

Several years ago I watched "save solder Rein", also directed by Steven Spielberg. I didn’t like it at all. The cruel scenarios offended me. I didn’t expect myself to like "Munich", but I do, deeply touched although it’s bloody, too. Maybe it’s me who have changed…
